CarrierGuard is a carrier verification platform built for freight forwarders in Europe. It runs 40+ checks across identity, financial health, legal standing, address, and shared collaboration history, so you always know the legitimacy of a carrier before you book a load.

The shared collaboration history is available to all users, including those on the free tier. It aggregates carriers reported by the CarrierGuard community as well as automated risk signals. You can search any carrier by company name or registration number and instantly see whether anyone has reported them. Recording your own experience with a carrier is on our roadmap. Forwarders in the network report carriers that failed them. Every report is reviewed before it is published, and the forwarder submitting it declares that the information is true and that they are entitled to share it. Reports we cannot stand behind do not go live. The rules are set out in our terms of service.

Yes. A carrier, or anyone acting for them, can write to help@carrierguard.eu to contest an entry. We review contested entries and remove or correct anything we cannot substantiate. Where an entry concerns a person rather than a company, the objection and erasure rights described in our privacy policy apply.

A full check pulls data from official company registries, VAT databases, sanctions lists, insolvency records, and public legal sources. It covers identity and legal existence, financial substance, registered address, ownership structure, key persons and their associations, EU and national sanctions, adverse media, and sender domain verification. Most checks complete within 15 to 60 seconds, depending on the number of data sources queried and their response times. Registry data is cached to speed up repeat lookups on the same company.

Poland is fully supported with the deepest data coverage. We are actively expanding to Germany and Romania. If you need coverage for a specific country, tell us — it helps us prioritise the roadmap.

A check tells you what the registries, courts, sanctions lists and other forwarders say about a carrier at the moment you run it. It is there to inform the decision, not to make it: the decision to book stays with you, and no verification can rule out every risk. This is set out in our terms of service.

The email extension checks the sender domain of incoming carrier emails against official registry data, so you can see at a glance whether the domain matches the company's registered identity. It runs in Gmail and Outlook. We set it up together with your team rather than leaving you to install it, so it comes as part of a custom plan.

Yes. Checks can be delivered inside the transport management system your planners already use, so verification happens where the booking happens. We do not ship off-the-shelf plugins for specific TMS products. We build the connector against your setup as part of the engagement, which means it fits how your team actually works and there is nothing for you to maintain. As many as you like. There is no seat limit and no per-user pricing, so adding colleagues never costs more. The limit is on checks: each plan includes a number of full carrier checks a month, and everyone on the account draws from the same allowance. Single sign-on and admin roles come with a custom plan.

Your plan renews automatically each month until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time. When you do, access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for and you are not charged again. There are no long-term contracts on the self-serve plans.

Yes. Teams with higher check volumes, or who need CarrierGuard delivered into their email or TMS, run on a custom plan. That covers volume matched to your operation, single sign-on, admin permissions and roles, and priority support. Book a demo to talk it through.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We process only the data necessary to perform verifications and do not sell or share your search history with third parties. The platform is designed and operated in accordance with GDPR requirements — the detail is in our privacy policy.
